Our ongoing accessibility commitment

At Pet’s Place Grooming, we want everyone in our community to feel welcome, and that includes the way you use our website. We are a dogs-only grooming salon here in Port St. Lucie, and we believe booking an appointment or learning about our services should be easy for every visitor, no matter how they browse the web. This statement explains what we are doing to make our site more accessible and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our ongoing commitment

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our goal. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a finished project, so we review and improve our site over time. This is a genuine goal we are working toward, not a guarantee or a certification that every part of our site meets that standard today.

What we are doing

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website clear and usable. Some of the things we focus on include:

  • Organizing pages with headings so content is easier to follow and navigate.
  • Supporting keyboard access so you can move through the site without a mouse.
  • Choosing readable text sizes and color contrast that are easier on the eyes.
  • Adding text alternatives for images so screen readers can describe them.

  • Reviewing our content on an ongoing basis and fixing issues as we find them.

We are honest that we are not perfect. Some areas may still need work, and we appreciate your patience as we keep improving.

Parts of our website rely on tools and content created by other companies. This includes our MoeGo online booking system and other embedded or linked features. We do our best to choose partners that care about accessibility, but these third-party tools are not fully within our direct control.
